Alejandro Horowicz

Alejandro Horowicz is a distinguished Argentine Jewish historian, author, and political thinker. He is renowned for his profound historical insight and systematic analysis of power struggles and class dynamics in Latin America and globally.

Horowicz’s magnum opus, Los cuatro peronismos, is a foundational text for studying the evolution of modern Argentine politics. Holding a PhD in Sociology, he has spent decades teaching and researching at the University of Buenos Aires (UBA). His work integrates Marxist rigor with the sharpness of critical theory, aiming to deconstruct geopolitical narratives within the global capitalist system. He is widely recognized as a leading figure in Latin America’s left-wing intellectual circles.

He participated in a collective denunciation of the genocide in Gaza alongside other prominent Argentine intellectuals and artists, framing the conflict as a pivotal front in the global anti-colonial struggle.
