Stefanie Fox

Stefanie Fox is a prominent American Jewish organizer and activist. She currently serves as the Executive Director of Jewish Voice for Peace (JVP).

Fox possesses over 20 years of professional experience in social justice movements. Under her leadership, JVP has grown from a mid-sized advocacy group into the largest anti-Zionist Jewish organization in the United States, boasting hundreds of thousands of members and grassroots chapters nationwide. She excels at utilizing strategic communication and mass mobilization to demonstrate the profound internal dissent within the Jewish community regarding Israeli policies. By fostering internal structures such as the Rabbinical Council, she has provided robust theoretical and spiritual foundations for the alignment of Jewish faith with anti-occupation stances.

Between 2023 and 2026, she led JVP in spearheading some of the largest Jewish-led pro-Palestine protests in U.S. history, including high-profile sit-ins at Grand Central Terminal, the Statue of Liberty, and the U.S. Capitol, urgently demanding a ceasefire in Gaza and an end to U.S. military aid to Israel. She steadfastly promotes the definition of “anti-Zionism” as a political choice rooted in Jewish values of justice rather than hatred of others. Through numerous op-eds in mainstream media, she challenges the logic of building Jewish security upon the oppression of another people and actively advances the global BDS movement. She is dedicated to building a broad multiracial and multi-faith alliance, positioning Palestinian liberation at the center of the global decolonial struggle through collaborations with movements such as Black Lives Matter.

In the face of genocide against Palestine, she called out: My dear ones in Palestine are saying that they have never experienced such destruction in seventy-five years of occupation. My dear ones are saying there is not a moment to wait. Do not sit back while Israel carries out a genocide fully enabled by the United States. Bring your full body, your spirit, your communities, your humanity, to meet this moment, to call your representatives, to the streets. “Never again” means standing up for Palestinian people. “Never again” means this very moment.
