Nicole Farhi

Nicole Farhi is an internationally acclaimed British-Jewish (French-born) fashion designer and sculptor. She is the founder of the iconic Nicole Farhi label and was appointed a Commander of the Order of the British Empire (CBE) for her contributions to the fashion industry.

During the 1980s and 90s, Nicole Farhi defined British style with her eponymous label, known for its effortless elegance and high-quality tailoring. She is a multiple winner at the British Fashion Awards. After stepping away from fashion, she dedicated herself to sculpture. Mentored by Eduardo Paolozzi, her sculptural work focuses on the human form and emotional depth, showcased in numerous prestigious galleries.

As a prominent member of Independent Jewish Voices, Farhi has been a leading figure in asserting that Jewish identity should be defined by ethical integrity and human rights rather than uncritical support for a state.
